UPDATE 2-ConocoPhillips loss smaller than expected on higher oil price

Feb 2 (Reuters) - ConocoPhillips, the largest U.S.

independent oil producer, reported a smaller-than-expected

quarterly loss on Thursday, helped by higher crude prices and
