UPDATE 1-U.S. commodities regulator head to step down on Inauguration Day

WASHINGTON, Jan 3 (Reuters) - The top U.S. derivatives and

commodities regulator officially offered his resignation on

Tuesday, saying he would step down on Jan. 20, the day of the
